Line style specification for plotting

Is it possible to plot line styles as attached case(a) and case(b)? Thanks!

Davit - see linespec for details. You can definitely satisfy case (b). For the other, the closest would be the "Dash-dot" line style.

Hi Geoff, thanks yes case(b) more easy. I was mostly interested case(a). I could not find the way to make it.
