I have a question that is normally basic block Input1 source, if we add a second block, the number is incremented by 2, what is the usefulness of this block, since it is not a signal, this is when you use it?

Inport/Outport are used as boundary blocks for a system. When used within a subsystem, they create inputs/outputs to the subsystem block that you can use to connect it with other blocks. When used at a model level, it can be used for at least two purposes:
  1. To import/export input/output signals via the Data Import/Export Pane.
  2. When generating code from the model, these serve as input/output signals that are supplied from other pieces of code.
