In App Designer, how to provide a user for the simulation status?

Hi,

I'm using App Designer on MATLAB 2017a, I want to add two features to my App:

1) indicator that shows how long the code is running, can be in percentage or any kind of indicator. because sometimes my code took so long time, so I want the user to anticipate a long waiting time when he sees how slow his problem is running,

2) associated with this, I want to add a STOP button that can interrupt and stop the simulation.

Any hints how I can do these two function in App Designer?

Hello,

Were you ever able to figure this problem out. I am trying to check for SimulationStatus so I can call startUpFcn() a second time to intialize the model after it is running.

I tried that time but then stopped but still willing to do it. I will try again and update you if it is running. and Kindly, let me know if you have it operational.
