How to start with database

Dear Everyone, I am almost dont with the analysis codes for my research, the next step will be is how to import and export data to some database, as I googled the best way, some say to use excel and some advised to use MySQL and connect it to matlab, How can I please start learning about this MySql and connect my matlab generated data to it?
