Send parallel port trigger output

Hi,

I am trying to send a trigger via the parallel port to a MindWare box. I have tried to use the MEX-file plug-in http://apps.usd.edu/coglab/psyc770/IO64.html but this isn't working. Any possible solutions?

I had met some problem when i use io64, i cann't receive any signal from parallel port when i execute io64(ioObj, address, data_out). The problem is that i have the different port address with the example, which means the address of port is not '378'. I solved this problem via check my own address of parallel port. First, open the Device Manager, then right clicked the LP1(or any parallel port you want to use), select the properties, select the resources pannel and the first number of first row in I/O range is the actual address of parallel. I hope this would help.

Hello, Pingyang. I have similar problems with io64. My purpose is to read the status of a single bit, for example "11111111" or "11111110". I tried to accomplish this by a call to io64(ioObj, address), but I failed, the value returned didn't change after I physically changed the status of a signle bit in parallel port. I have set the address from '378' to 'C010', which is the actual address of parallel, as the way you kindly pointed out. I wonder whether some 64-bit versions of matlab do not support the function I required. As a layman, I really don't know how to get this done. Could you give me some tips? Thanks a lot!
