what is this eror and what does it mean and how can i solve it ?

datenum cannot handle time ranges.

Possibly the -08:00 is intended to be a timezone offset. datenum cannot handle timezones at all. But the newer datetime() can handle timezones.

As stated in the last two lines of the error message:

"If the string contains day, month, or time zone names in a language foreign to the 'en_US' locale, those might not be recognized. You can specify a different locale using the 'Locale' parameter."

I believe 'mars' is a month name in a language foreign to the en_US locale. As stated in the description of the Locale parameter in the datetime function documentation you may want to use 'system' (to use your system's locale) or the appropriate locale string for your country.

You have not indicated what those time strings mean . Does the -08:00 and -07:00 indicate time zone information relative to UTC? Or does it indicate a range of time, as in from midnight to 8 am ?
