How can i select right solver for my model?

I simulate a pv connected converter in simulink. But I'm not sure about powergui mode(continuous or discrete) selection and proper solver and its parameters. I earn right answers by continuous powergui mode but i think because of siwtching power converter i should select discrete mode. I confused about that
