PSO objective function and cost stable

Dear All,

I'm working on PSO project. It is working well with objective function (x^2+y^2), but I had a problem when I changed it to (x^2+y^2+lambda.*x) that the cost does not exceed a value of (-0.25). Does anyone work with it earlier have an idea regarding that?
