Is there an easy way to add space in the middle of a Simulink diagram?

I have a Simulink diagram with lots of blocks on it. I want to add something in the middle. Is there an easy way to create some empty space in the middle of the diagram rather than selecting a group of blocks and moving them up/down/left/right to make space? I am thinking of something along the lines of how in LabVIEW you can hold the Ctrl key and click and drag to make space. Assuming that I'm not just missing some obvious build-in capability that'll do what I want, does anyone have any suggestions on how I might be able to tackle such a thing with sl_customization?
