Hi,
Is it possible, with MATLAB, to configure USRP B210 to use GPSDO as ClockSource ?
I've USRP B210 with GPSDO. I'm not able to figure out how to configure USRP to use GPSDO as time and frequency reference. Currently the SDRuReceiver and SDRuTransmitter allows to select ClockSource property to be 'internal' or 'external' but not GPSDO. It is clear that the radio doesn't use GPSDO as default, because the frequency offset is so high. E.g. with GNU Radio I'm able to configure ClockSource to be GPSDO and the frequency error drops significantly.

Currently, the MathWorks USRP support package does not support a GPSDO clock source. However, if you have an alternative external clock (e.g. an Octoclock or a Keysight 10 MHz source), you can use it to provide a highly stable frequency reference for the LO.

Hello, does MathWorks USRP support package support GPDDO clock source now?

Not now. Thanks for your continued interest. I'll pass your question to our USRP development team.

Hi,
I find that the 2020a release still does not supoort the GPSDO clock source. Do the development team have a plan to support the GPSDO clock source in USRP N210? And when it may be released? Thank you.

In R2021a the support for GPSDO as ClockSource and PPSSource is enabled, from SDRuReceiver and SDRuTransmitter system objects in MATLAB and Simulink blocks.

GPSDO is automatically initialized by the FPGA if it is physically present in the connector and is used as a reference for adjusting the standard generator through the PLL.
