How do I make one matrix out of these two matrices?

Hi,
you cant make a matrix from this, because in one file there are strings in a language i dont know. Use a table instead:
your_table = table(kijkrichting_kijkmoment(:),tijd_kijkmoment(:));
This will give you a table 1702x2 looking looking like this:

Another way would be to make a cell array by doing this:
your_cell_array(:,1) = kijkrichting_kijkmoment(:);
your_cell_array(:,2) = num2cell(tijd_kijkmoment(:));
This gives you the nearly same result - with the difference that it is a cell array and not a table.:

If you have R2016b or higher you can also consider to create a string array from your data. The usage is very similar to the methods shown above and is described here:
