Beagleboard XM - Simulink support

I have been trying to compile my designs in Simulink to embed the code into Beagleboard XM. I've learned that only GNU version 2.6.29 is compatible with the C code produced by Simulink. I experienced a lot of difficulties while downgrading the kernel to 2.6.29 since the board comes with GNU ver. 2.6.32 I'd be very happy if someone explains if there is going to be a support by Mathworks for the newest kernel versions.

  • Hi Kroger, thanks for asking. MathWorks doesn't comment on features and support for third-party tools in future releases of its software.
  • However, if you aren't already doing so, please consider using the latest Simulink Support Package for BeagleBoard.
  • Here are the instructions for installing support for BeagleBoard hardware.
