I have a NI PCIe-6353 installed on a mac running OSX 10.10.5.
I know there is not NI driver for this card, but since the Simulink Desktop Real-Time documentation did not explicitly say that it's NOT supported, I thought I give it a try.
I was able to see and select PCIe-6353 listed in the "Install New Board" dialogue. Inside "Board Setup", the "Test" routine failed and gave me an error:
"Device availability cannot be verified. The error message was: Device not found."
I ignored this error can continued to run a simple model (selecting sldrt as my target). They all failed with error "Device not found".
Anyway, just wondering if anyone had actually got a NI card working for Desktop Real-Time on a Mac, or can I get an official Matlab statement that this set up is not supported. Thanks.
Blessings, Spencer
