Hi, I am trying to figure out how to calculate the kurtosis and skewness during a 1 second time frame of data (500 points) moving through my entire data. I have figured out mean, median, std etc. But I am unsure how to calculate this.
I have 9 axis of data from an IMU, so i wish to calculate this moving skewness and kurtosis for each axis.
Thankyou for your help.

There are functions for skewness() and kurtosis() in the Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox. So just program up a for loop where you move a window along and call those functions. Easy, right?

You may not know the huge difference of time consumption between "movavg()" and "loop+mean()".
