Hello every one I want to make a project on real time image processing on MATLAB but for GIGE VISION camera required but I failed to arrange a Gige Vision Camera Can anybody tell me zzabout alternative soloution. Please help me

Hi Javed, Yes sure definitely you can use a normal webcam with the driver installed for image acquisition and processing

GigE supports higher resolution and higher frame rates and potentially control of the camera while the images are being taken (such as zoom), so it can be an advantage. However you can still use usb webcam or built in camera for real time work, but perhaps not as nicely.
