Error Installing Matlab 2018b on UBUNTU 18.04

While trying to install Matlab using my university account on ubuntu 18.04, I am getting a "connection error".
The exact error is something like that: "The application could not connect to Mathworks". Could you help?

Hello Sajan,
Could you see if any firewall or proxy settings are interfering with the connection? Also, try to clear you browser cache and cookies and try again.
