poctave.m errors gives wrong results

Use poctave to get a nice 1/3 octave plot
>>>poctave(xalt,Fs,opts{:}) Levels are displayed
then: >>>[pxx,fxx]=poctave(xalt,Fs,opts{:})
pxx gives completely different numbers to those displayed in the plot ????
fxx gives the right results

I don't have access to the toolbox that contains this function, so you will have to write a complete example that reproduces your issue. We should be able to copy and paste your code to our copy of Matlab and see the issue. That way we might be able to help you.

Thank you by the way for your very prompt replies. I hesitated to send the code because you'd need to read a wave file, in my implementation, to see the results. I'll see what I can do during the course of the day with a generated time signal.....
