The code you posted, with the file you attached (‘A.xlsx’), runs for me without error in R2018b.

Just try upgrading to 2018b and see if it works , so it might be the solution then.

Also make sure ../Experimental_Data/DBDA_Prediction.xlsx the path you are mentioning contains the file that you mention which is essential for reading a file.
