reCan anyone help me with what to do for the following question?
Produce a shock/response spectrum for the motion of the rig when it is impacted by a supply vessel of mass 2,000 tonne, which produces a half sine wave pulse lasting 2 sec and of magnitude 1,000 kN applied at the deck level. You should analyse for the case of impact in the xand ydirection at leg A, which is furthest from the centre of mass. The horizontal axis of the spectrum should be the height of the rig deck above the seabed and the graph(s) you produce should show the peak motions in the xand ydirections at the leg being impacted. Additionally, list all numerical values of your spectra in a table(s). You should produce spectra for both loading directions and comment on the worst case.
