How to perform robust control on combined electrical and mechanical system???

hello all

im trying to perform robust control for a plant that consists of both electrical and mechanical systems. i have seen examples of robust control on individual but havent seen them combined. Also im using LQR controller instead of PID for feedback. Any valueable info is much appreciated.
