Plot_Google_Map in App Designer

Plot_Google_Map is a great for plotting satellite images onto your plot (https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/27627-zoharby-plot_google_map). However, I'm having trouble making it work in Matlab's App Designer. The function does not allow you to define an UIAxes and therefore does not plot the map to the intended figure on the GUI. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No I did not. I just let it open up a separate figure window.

Hi Evan,

Have you tried changing the axis handle in the code provided to that of UIAxes? I think that should enable in fulfiling your requirement.

Looking into the code, I find that 'axHandle' is the handle to the axes in the function provided and 'app.UIAxes' should be the handle (by default) in an App Designer project.
