Hi there,
Matlab has granted me a prerelease trial license of 2019a version. Up until now, I was so skeptical about migrating to this version and using it every day; because I had problems opening the saved projects of this prerelease version in my current version 2018a
So, I am wondering if I use this version and save my projects in it, in the future I would be able continue working with this version after its release.
Best regards,

Not really . The prerelease license expires soon after the scheduled release .
However Mathworks seldom grants trial license of prelease other than to people under Software Maintenance Service who would be entitled to upgrade to the full release when it is available .

Yeah, that does seem odd, unless perhaps he needed to try out a toolbox he didn't have but even then I think they would have given him an official R2018b trial.
But, m, since you already have it why not just make the quick test? If it opens your project (simple m-files I assume, but maybe a deployment project), then I think you can rest assured it will continue to be able to be opened in the ottical release which comes out next month. What problems "opening" did you have with your m-files in the prior pre-release version? No, scratch that - we're not allowed to discuss pre-release problems/issues in this forum. So if you have problems, detail them to tech support, NOT here or you'll violate the agreement you made for testing a pre-release version.

You can test with the trial. As usual with a trial, you should only be using it for testing, not counting on using the results going forward... and if you do decide that you like the new features, then that would be a signal that you should purchase the new version (or pay any required maintenance to be entitled to upgrade to the new version when it is released.)
