I'm trying to connect my Arduino Mega using the external Mode with Wifi.

I don't have a Wifi Shield only Esp8266, i know that the Simulink Support package for Arduino Hardware doesn't support this possibility but i just wanted to know, if there is an option to add this possibility by programing this option alone.

can you show me the way, how to act on the External Mode to add other possibilities and thank you

According to my understanding, you can use ESP8266 while connecting Arduino Mega in external mode over Wi-Fi or Serial.

It explains that if you are using ESP8266 select Serial.

if you select Serial you are using the Usb cable but i wanna connect using ESP8266.
