multiplying a time delayed pulse with continuous signal

I'm generating a sequence of bits,rectangular pulse shaping it. i want to time delay this pulse and multiply with a cos signal.I tried delayseq function and step function to delay the signal. But it is not wrking. Can anybody give mea solution
