.mat files database

hello everyone

I'm beginner at matlab database

i just want to ask , if i have .mat files for heartbeat how to make it in database ?

is there toolbox in matlab for this kind of project

or should i first convert it to sql and then link it with matlab as database ?

and what to query in heartbeat database ?

After I search by name, I want the content of the specified name display (heart beat graphs that inside. mat file )

What is the point in using a database for that? You could just keep a cell array of character vectors, and use ismember() to verify that the query is in the list of known names, and then load() the data from the file. If the same data tends to be loaded multiple times, you could use a containers.Map to cache the values.
