You can find pitch of framed audio in MATLAB using the “pitch()” function. This function estimates the fundamental frequency (pitch) of the input audio signal based on the given sampling frequency. It automatically handles framing when you specify the window and overlap lengths.
However, if you havealready framedthe audio (i.e., you have a matrix where each column is a frame), you would need to process each frame separately using“pitch()”, sincethe functionexpects a vector (not a matrix of frames) as input.
For most practical purposes, it isrecommended to let“pitch()”handle the framingby providing the raw audio and specifying the window and overlap lengths.
