IMREAD Error opening TIF files

Dear, while rading a TIF file, I get this error TIFF library error - 'TIFFFetchNormalTag: Incorrect count forr "ImageDepth".'

Why is this happening?

How can I solve it?. GIMP opens it, as well as Wndows Photo editor

Hi Elena,

I am not sure why you are getting this error on reading a TIF file as imread reads most images supported by TIFF specification. But it supports some TIFF capabilities. I am attaching a link, please go through that once.
