how to write in matlab?

flag(j)<------- 1, t(i)<------- j.
which sign is used instead of arrow(<--------) between them.

flag(j) = 1;

If you are trying to assign flag(j) and t(i) values, then you should use :
flag(j) = 1;
t(i) = j;
