Caption for Formal tables?

I am using mlreportgen.dom to create formaltables to display in auto-generated PDF report.
Formaltables works great in all regards, except that I cannot seem to find any way of adding either titles or captions to these tables when displayed in the report. Any help on this is appreciated..

See the BaseTable reporter introduced in R2017bd.
