linear interpolation without meshgrid

Hello I have to do linear interpolation. n=interp2(X,Y,V,x,y,'linear'). This function is not working. Because my X and Y coordinates are not monotonically increasing and also not unique value. So what can I do for this. Is there any function to do interpolation.
