License transfer from 1 matlab server to other server

Hello,

We are planning to transfer a license from 1 matlab server to another new one.

After the transfer will the connections to the old matlab server still work and can we migrate the devices or will the connection to the old server not work annymore?

From that document,

"Please note that deactivating your MATLAB license on the MathWorks website will not disable your existing license server. Once your clients have been migrated to the new server, you are responsible for shutting down your old license server to maintain compliance with the MATLAB Software License Agreement."
