Find the first and second derivative of the following function with respect to x using MATLAB command. Then create a surface plot of the given function and its first and second derivatives by defining X and Y using meshgrid command with hold on and hold off command. the function is f(x,y)= xy(x^2-y^2)

If you deal with only one function you present, the easiest way is to just find the required derivatives analytically via elementary calculus, and compute using the resulting equations. If you plan to work with many various analytical function, the "Symbolic Math Toolbox" provides the call function "diff" for that. For a function defined in a tabular form, via some complicated algorithms, etc., the derivatives can be computed numerically by the finite-difference algorithm, Fourier-transform algorithm... Whatever you want...
