How to use my trained network, from NNToolbox, in Java?

I'm new in these matlab functionalities so forgive my questions. I've searched and read the docs but I still can't figure out how. :(

I can save the trained network in a .mat file, BUT I can't add .mat files in the Deployment Tool for MATLAB Builder JA. I can only add .m files there but I don't know how to save the network in a .m file. My conundrum..

What's the way of it?

Also, can I just extract the weights and biases of my network and use them manually in my Java program? If so, can you give me an example?

The version that I'm using is R2011b.
