I simply press the "Simulink" button in the Home tab, then MATLAB processes for a few seconds before encountering an internal error and crashing. I attempted to see if anyone had similar issues as I, and found something about updating my Intel drivers, but I could not install newest drivers downloaded from intel.com due to restrictions placed on my work PC.
The error log mentions several things, e.g. QT gui and Wacom tablets, but I am not using a Wacom tablet at all. How do I solve this issue? The error log is as follows.

Thank you for your help, Deepak. I tried the opengl command, but it did not lead to any success. What did lead to success, however, was to disable the Wacom ISD Service in the Windows 10 services. I did so by using "Windows + R" and opening "services.msc". Then, I scrolled down to Wacom ISD Service and disabled it. Now I can open Simulink without issue. If anyone else in the future encounters this issue, you may be successful doing as I did.

It might be due to hardware graphics issue. If you are unable to upgrade the hardware graphics of your system, try using software version of OpenGL to render subsequent graphics for the current MATLAB session. you can run the below command in MATLAB to use software version of OpenGL:
>>opengl software
