problem with datetick command?

Hi folks,

I have a small issue I cant resolve....

I am plotting with datenums on the X-axis and the XTicks are 7.xxx with a x10^-^5 below the axis labels.

When I issue the command: datetick('x',11)

it changes the ticks as I want them ie YY but the 'x10^-^5' stays on the figure!!

How do I dael with this irriatating problem?!

Please post the relevant parts of the code for your figure, including how you calculate the date numbers.
