Creating Arduino object on Leonardo and Micro boards with MATLAB Support Package for Arduino Hardware throws failed to upload error -

on systems with macOS Catalina 10.15.1.

To resolve this issue, upgrade the macOS version to macOS Catalina 10.15.2.

Is it required to reinstall the Support Package after the upgrade? - As long as the latest Support Package is installed i.e. 19.2.2 version of the Support Package, there is no need to reinstall it.
