what is optimal option when creating test harness to verify mathematical models ?

what is optimal option when creating test harness to verify mathematical models ? 
I am using using test sequence and assessments blocks but I suspect its the optimal solution,
because the scripting language is not giving lots of mathimatical options (as .m scripting)  as far as I can do.

Not sure what you mean with "verify mathematical models".
