Importing data from Matlab onto/into Excel

1) In Windows, I can start Matlab from Excel. Can I do that on the Mac in 2020a?
2) I don't see any add-in for Matlab in Excel on the Mac
3) Can I send data from the Matlab workspace into Excel and vice versa?

This feature is not supported on Mac platform.

Thank you. But I knew that. Could you please help me understand how to move data back and forth with Excel? This is a major weakness in Matlab on the Mac platform and I am surprised that you guys have not put something better in place. Just saying.
