Simscape Multibody from Solidworks Assembly

Questions:

- The top two circles are the attachment points on the inside of the holes, these have to been fixed.

- The two parts see coupling black circle can move freely from each other.

- The function of the force must engage on the yellow part all the way down.

You would have to choose which assumptions to make to model this system.

I would suggest putting a spherical joint with joint limits enabled where the chain links encounter each other and then another spherical joint (or revolute joint) where the load will hang. In each case, you can measure the constraint forces to see what the loads are.
