Use a Matlab .m file to calculate stresses in Abaqus UMAT subroutine

Hei everyone!

I am working on a abaqus UMAT subroutine and have a model in Matlab to calculate the stresses in every increment in the UMAT subroutine.

Does anyone know, if one can call a matlab script from ithin this fortran subroutine?
