UNITS OF MEASURE IN MATLAB PDE

Dear community,

I was taking a look at matlab PDE documentation (https://www.mathworks.com/help/pdf_doc/pde/pde.pdf) and I am puzzled by the thermal model equation:

I don't understand if there is a typo and C is the specific heat rather than the heat capacity, but even so the terms at the right-hand should be [W/m3], while the last term (convective one) is in W/m2. Is there a mistake or am I misinterpreting something?
