Soft Starter using SCR firing angle control

I’m doing Soft Starter using SCR firing angle control. I have generated the firing angle control circuit using zero crossing detector, pwm generator and variable transfer delay. But when i give to the gate pulse to the anti parallelly connected Thyristors I couldn’t get the desired output. Is the any configurations to be done to the thyristors to get the output?
