I would like to have a set of enumerated classes in a toolbox that can be used in both MATLAB and Simulink. Enumerated classes can be created that inherit from: Simulink.IntEnumType or standard types such as int32 If I use the Simulink class will users of my code need to have a Simulink license? If I use a more standard type such as int32 what will be lost in Simulink?

If I create an Enumerated class that inherits from Simulink.IntEnumType, do users of that class require a Simulink license?
