Regarding sound processing fft

My doubt is I have recorded a voice signal of hardly 5 seconds and I get some data of my audio signal. When i plot its fft or its spectrogram,Graph is very bizzare. So i want to know how to plot our own recorded signal.

But that just may mean you don't understand an fft or spectrogram. Or perhaps you plotted it in some strange way that we do not know, since we don't see how you tried to plot it. So show what you did and then ask a question explaining why it is you think the result is strange. By doing this, you can get some reasonable help. Otherwise, someone is forced to virtually teach an entire class, going as far back as explaining what is a complex number, what is a fourier transform, etc.
Best of course, is if you also attach a copy of the sound file, best as a .mat file that we can load to then give an example. Attach it to a comment, or to your question itself, not to an answer.
