When I packaged the application created by the MATLAB App design tool as a web application, i met a question “According to the MATLAB Compiler license, "start_simulink" is not included when packaging the MATLAB Runtime environment.''So when I open the app on the web, it cannot run. How can I solve this problem?

The error you are encountering is because "start_simulink" is part of Simulink Compiler, not included in a standard MATLAB Compiler license or the MATLAB Runtime environment. To fix this:
  • Install and use Simulink Compiler: Only Simulink Compiler bundles the Simulink runtime and allows using "start_simulink" in deployed apps.
  • Launch it via "webAppCompiler".
  • Add your ".mlapp" containing "start_simulink" usage and Package the app, it will generate a ".ctf" that includes Simulink support.
  • Deploy the ".ctf" file to MATLAB Web App Server: Copy it into the "apps" folder and restart or reload the server. The Simulink runtime components will now load properly on launch.
You may refer to the below documentation links to know more about the same:

I hope this helps!
