Mostrar comentarios más antiguos
I have installed SimMechanics Link I ran install_addon successfully I ran smlink_linksw successfully
I ticked SimMechanics Link in Solidworks Tools-> Add-Ins, pressed OK but a SimMechanics Link menu fails to be added to the menus in SW
Matlab, Simulink, SimMechanics and SimMechanics Link are all 2012b Solidworks is Premium 2012
Any suggestions/ help will be greatly appreciated

Guys! I just solved the problem!! I was trying to link Simmechanics 2015 on MATLAB 2015b to Solidworks 2015-16. at first after going through all the instructions provided by MATLAB no MENU actually added to my Solidworks, BUT! the Simmechanics link is hidden in TOOL menu right after the Express Products option! I just found it there! Give it a try! hope it works for you too! :)

There's a common pitfall I always run into, which is that the SimMechanics Link menu shows up only when you have an assembly (.SLDASM) file active.
If you have no files open, or you have a part (.SLDPRT) open, the menu won't show up.
Could you try this out to confirm whether that is the case?
