.mlapp file conversion for previous Matlab version compatibility

Hello,

I am working on a .mlapp file in Matlab 2019a. This app needs to be run and modified in Matlab 2017b, too. Therefore, from Matlab 2019b I have saved a copy of the file as a Matlab 2017b file. Then, I opened the file with Matlab 2017b and everything went well. However, if I modify this file in Matlab 2017b and save it, when I reopen it, all labels as well as edit field disappear and only panels and tabs are present in the app. Is this a bug? Is there a way I can fix it?
