Joystick Compatibility with MATLAB

Hello everyone..

I want to interface joystick with MATLAB.

I have decided to buy Genius_-Max Fighter F-17 (USB PC joystick with Turbo) joystick. http://ahmedabad.olx.in/usb-pc-joystick-with-turbo-iid-479651414

I want to know that will it be compatible with MATLAB???

There are joystick interfaces in Simulink, and in the Areospace toolbox. Other than those, it appears you might need the Data Acquisition Toolbox and a FEX contribution such as http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/8954-joystick-adaptor-4-axis-buttons

I do not know about compatibility of any particular joystick.

actually i want to fetch data from joystick nd then want to transfer it to the laptop.. and according to that data a signal will be sent to the arduino connected to laptop.. I want to know that any USB joystick will be compatible to fetch data???
