Solving an differential equation using ODE45 with an intermediately specified condition

I have a differential equation of this form

I would like to know how I can solve such an equation using MATLAB's tools for a specified region of t. At the moment, I care only about n as a function of t and therefore, the partial derivatives can be replaced by ordinary derivatives.
