- Export and re-import is not the best way to validate OpenDRIVE data exported from RoadRunner. Instead, there is an OpenDRIVE Export Preview Tool that shows a preview of the exported OpenDRIVE data and allows detailed exploration of the data. The Output Panel shows any Warnings or Errors that may have occurred during the export process.
- The resulting imported RoadRunner scene will still be a little different from the original RoadRunner scene. There will be 4 incoming/outgoing roads instead of 2 through roads. The corners and maneuver roads will be connected to the ends of those roads, rather than the middle.
- If adjustments are still needed after export, prefer making adjustments to a RoadRunner scene and re-exporting rather than re-importing an OpenDRIVE file already exported from RoadRunner.
